Hi, I am Shubham Agarwal and today I am sharing my strategy to crack the bank exam.

BARODA RAJASTHAN KSHETRIYA GRAMIN BANK

I have done my graduation in 2016 from Pune University. I was placed in an organisation From DY Patil College of Engineering Pune but the company still not sent me my joining letter, thereafter I waited for 6 months after graduation then started my preparation for bank exams.

My brother suggested me Adda247 App for mock test. I gave exam in 2017 and was selected for IBPS RRB PO interview and RRB office assistant mains but could not get selected in final allotment list in RRB PO but I was considered in RRB Office Assistant Reserve List by 0.22 marks from Rajasthan. After that, I again started my preparation for bank exam with new energy and work on my weakness. Adda247 was very helpful in my mission, I regularly took one mock test daily on Adda247 and analyse my preparation. And again I selected in IBPS PO Mains , IBPS Clerk mains, IBPS RRB PO interview, IBPS RRB Office Assistant Mains. On 31st December, I was waiting for the reserve list result but unfortunately was not selected. Then on new year I got a gift from IBPS as selected in IBPS RRB Office Assistant in Baroda Rajasthan Kshetriya Gramin Bank from Rajasthan.

Thank you very much, Adda247 team for providing all bank exams news and study material.

Hi, I am Susmita  Sadhukhan. I would like to express my congratulation to all of those who have been selected in the final list published by IBPS on 1st April, 2019. I completed my B.Sc (Chemistry Honours) in 2016 and started my preparation for banking exams from November 2016. I appeared for RRB PO, RRB CLERK, IBPS CLERK in 2017, but couldn’t clear even the prelims. In 2018, I cleared SBI CLERK prelims but couldn’t find place in MAINS exam by 2.35 marks.

The pain of these failures was not more than my yearn for success. I restructured my preparation plan and in this journey ADDA 247 helps me a lot. I prepared myself through ADDA 247 Test Series, E-books, Youtube Videos. Finally I am selected in IBPS CLERK 2018-19 in UCO BANK. The most useful things for me were the classes provided by Anchal Mam, Sumit Sir. I am grateful forever to ADDA 247  for stretching their helping hands in many ways to achieve my goal.

So, my advice for all the aspirants is that please be positive and always keep in mind “Failure Can Not Defeat The Man Who Will Try Again"

So guys just stay calm and you would surely do well.  Good Luck and All the best for your future endeavors.

"Impossible is Just a Word, Hard Work is the Solution of Everything" says Sourav Nag | IBPS Clerk VIII - 17 (Union Bank of India)

I am Sourav Nag. I am sharing my success story with you using Adda247 (An important Platform for the Preparation of Competitive Exams ).

I am a B.tech graduate. I completed B.tech in 2015 in Electronics & Communication Engineering. I am working in TCS. This was my 2nd attempt in IBPS Clerk. I had failed in IBPS PO mains and Canara Bank PO before, and the journey was not easy for me. However, I am now extremely happy with my achievement, and I am grateful to all the people who supported me throughout.

It is not necessary that one should enroll at a coaching institute. These days everything is available online and all one needs is the zeal and motivation to crack the test. There are many websites, magazines, apps like Adda247 and newspapers that can provide one with all the required information. Even then if someone has a doubt, YouTube is the best tutor. I learned many things from Google and YouTube.

I practiced tests using various online test series of Adda247. I used to read a newspaper on daily basis: The TOI and The Hindu the Capsules available on the Internet and daily one-liners of Adda247 were also very helpful for the static awareness and revision of current affairs. I watched Online videos of Kush Sir for Banking Awareness, and also followed Quick look on Quant Series by Sumit Sir & Amit Sir on Adda247.

Giving Test on a daily basis and analysing it helped me a lot in cracking the Exam.
It was not easy but hard work pays. Adda247 always motivated me, I had learned a lot from team adda247 and I would continue to study to achieve higher than a current achievement because success never ends. It will be flourished day by day.

My Scores in IBPS Clerk Mains 2018:
GA.                                -25.00
English                          - 18.75
Reasoning                     - 30.30
Quantitative Aptitude    -35.00
Total.                           - 109.05

I have been allotted to Union Bank of India.

Prajwal says "Failure didn't let me down", | IBPS PO 2018 - 19 (Union Bank of India)

I am Prajwal and I am selected as a PO in Union Bank of India. It was a dream come true for me and the hard work finally paid off. Firstly I would like to thank my parents who were always with me in my journey and always supported me. I am a 2017 B.Tech pass out. After my b.tech I gave PO in the year 2017 and unfortunately couldn't make in the final list by 1 mark but I was selected as a clerk in Andhra bank.

Failure didn't let me down as I know that “if you didn't achieve something it means you need to work even harder’’ and I was always optimistic about my preparation and hard work.

Coming to ADDA247 I especially loved the daily quizzes which were time bounded as they would give you the real time exam experience. They helped me a lot in improving my speed and accuracy.

With respect to GA the capsule which ADDA247 releases was more than sufficient for me as they cover a wide range of topics from general awareness to banking awareness.

The test series of ADDA247 was also of the level of IBPS PO exam which helped me get accustomed to the level of the examination.

I would like to thank the whole team of ADDA247 who helped me fulfil my dream.

The Hindu Review | March 2019

As we all know that we are heading towards a new exam season starting right away from LIC AO and SBI PO Notifications. We have seen from the recent exams that now it is in trend that questions in Current Affairs Sections are asked from the previous 6 months. So it is the time you all should start preparing for this particular section right from the beginning. So much is happening every day that unless you keep yourself abreast of these changes you cannot adjust yourself to answer the questions asked in the GA section of Banking and Insurance Sector Examination smoothly and easily.

It's easy for one to attempt a great number of questions in this section as one doesn't need to perform complex calculations to get to the correct answer. She just needs to read through the questions, recall the correct answer and keep marking the correct options provided General Awareness Section is prepared well enough. TO help you up in this here we are launching The Hindu Review: March 2019 PDF for an effective revision of the current affairs.

Neha Kaushal, says "Unless you change your attitude you can never secure a government job" | IBPS Clerk 2018 - 20 (Union Bank Of India)

$

I feel extremely privileged and grateful to the team of Adda247 for considering me successful enough to allow me to share my success story with you all. I will keep it simple and short but long enough to include all the difficulties I faced along with the techniques I used to overcome them.

Introduction :
My name is Neha Kaushal. I have done M.com. I have cleared IBPS Clerk 2018 exam. I was in the third year of my graduation in 2015, when for the first time I appeared for a Government Job Exam. My aim in life was to become a successful banker.

Exams which I took :
After completing my graduation in 2015 I appeared for the following exam -

  • IBPS Clerk 2015 Pre cleared, Failed in Mains.
  • IBPS PO 2015 cleared pre, Failed in Mains
  • SBI Clerk 2016 cleared pre, Failed in Mains
  • IBPS PO 2016 cleared pre, failed in Mains
  • IBPS Clerical 2016 cleared pre, Failed in Mains by .5 marks .
  • IBPS PO 2017 cleared pre.
  • IBPS Clerk 2017 cleared pre, Failed in Mains by 2 marks.
  • RBI Assistant 2018 cleared pre, Not able to qualify mains just be few marks.
  • IBPS Clerk 2018 cleared pre. And finally, I cleared my Mains Exam also and get provisional allotment in Union Bank Of India.

My Journey to success :
These 4 years had been very much discouraging to me but I never lost hope and kept on pushing. My parent's support was always with me. They always encouraged me to keep trying and never give up. Their support also plays a major role for my success along with the whole team of Adda247. When I started preparing for Government Job exam in 2015, I installed Adda247 App and I must say that was one of my best decisions. The reason I like Adda247 is not only because it is a good platform to study but also because it provided me with online lectures, ebooks and live test series. You can also share your success and failure with your fellow students.

Techniques to stay motivated :

Today I will not be telling you how to study, you all know that very well. But instead, I will share what I have learnt over the course of 8 years of my life.

You might have read "Attitude is everything". There is no other quote as true as this one. Unless you change your attitude you can never secure a government job even if you study 18 hours a day. You must believe that you deserve the job, that you have studied hard, therefore, you will achieve success surely. Have healthy self-esteem and keep the thoughts of success dominant in your mind. Change in thoughts will change your beliefs which will eventually change your behaviour so that you can be more efficient and more productive. Only hard work or even smart work is not going to take you anywhere unless you blend it well with a positive attitude and a sense of relaxation. You might have heard the famous saying of Bhagwad Geeta "Abandon all attachment to the results and only perform the actions diligently"

Keep working very hard and stay relaxed in the assumption that you will be selected.

All the best, Thank you Team Adda247.

Hi Guys, I am Chetan Goyal from Jaipur. I have completed my graduation in B.tech(CSE) from JECRC college in JUNE 2018. Since then I have been preparing for banks exams and I got success in IBPS RRB CLERK.

Here is the PREPARATION STRATEGY that I followed:

      QUANT:
For me, the quant section was too much easy so I did not focus that much in preparing for on this section. I took a sectional test daily of the quant section. It was scoring section for me.

      REASONING:
I prefer going with puzzle rather than other topics of reasoning because it covers more than half of the reasoning section. I practised a lot of difficult questions of puzzles with giving sectional test. It was very helpful to me.

      ENGLISH:
Earlier, my english was not much strong, so i started to read a newspaper daily especially 'THE INDIAN EXPRESS' and developed my reading skills with the vocab part. I also practised the grammar questions to improve English.

      GK/GA:
Read as much as you can from any of the sites, videos and from anywhere. Go with newspaper to make GA strong.

      TIPS TO ASPIRANTS.
DO PRACTICE LOT OF MUCH AS YOU CAN WITH FOLLOWED THIS QUOTE "NEVER GIVE UP"

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.

You may be talented but if you don't work hard enough to justify your talent then it is of no use. There are people who might not have the skills or talent, but by working hard they can even surpass the talented ones.

Hard work and a good dose of determination can lead you anywhere, even if you are not the most talented in this area. Think about all those super talents in your preferred area of sports. Only those talents who are willing to make an extra effort will be able to succeed. Otherwise, less talented people will outperform them with their boundless willingness to do everything they can in order to succeed.
